My how they grow...

Tomorrow Hudson will be 9 months old and it just amazes me how much he has grown since he was born. I always try to take in every moment because I know that it wont last long. It seems like yesterday all he could say was "goo" and he just laid wherever you put him because he couldn't do much else. Now he can say duck, dog (which both sound the same, haha) mama, dada, ball, and even recognize what each object is. He is attempting to stand on his own, usually holding onto something with one hand and letting go and slowly melting like the wicked witch of the west on the Wizard of Oz. Haha! It just amazes me how much their minds are like little sponges soaking up all the world has to offer, but little do they know that this world actually doesn't have much to offer at all. Our real, true fulfillment comes from Christ and meditating on God's word. I just hope that in raising Hudson that he will truly understand that. In fact, I will make that my prayer tonight and I encourage any other parent that is reading to do the same. We just don't realize what kind of world our children have to grow up in so we must rely on the Lord to keep them focused, protected, and true to the Word. It is a big responsibility to be a parent but of course we are not to worry and be anxious for nothing but in all things through prayer and supplication make our requests known to God.

I didn't mean to make this sooo deep today :0) Just got off on a tangent!! I hope that you can understand where I am coming from. Tomorrow is the first rehearsal for the Franklin Graham Choir. I am excited because I haven't sang in a choir in years! Tomorrow is finally Hudson and mommy day...YAY! I hope everyone has a great day tomorrow! Bye for now!

P.S. be sure to check out my new link to the "picasa pictures" they are wonderful :0)

Being a parent IS a worrying task. I have a 3 month old and I already worry if she'll need braces, if she'll get picked on in school, when she goes to college, etc.. I'm constantly finding something new to worry about in her future, but I should rest assured knowing that her future is God's problem and not mine.

Let me just say, I am SO jealous of you being in a choir. There is nothing more amazing than singing in a choir and hearing all of the beautiful harmonies. It's the best. It gives me chills! Chorus is the only part of high school that I miss.

Enjoy your day with your little man tomorrow. Talk to you later!

That Hudson is SO stinkin' cute! The pictures were adorable.

I'm also jealous of you getting to sing in the choir. I had no idea there was even a choir or I may have looked into the idea of it myself. Enjoy!
